Executive Officer
Natasha Vasey-Ellis has been the Executive Officer of the Gippsland Coastal Board since October 2007. She has had experience working for non-profit organisations, in academia, and for a U.S. federal government agency, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). In 2007 Natasha completed her thesis on ‘Planning for climate change in coastal Victoria’ for her Master of Urban Planning degree from the University of Melbourne.
Gippsland Lakes Planning Officer
Chris Barry has worked for the Coastal Board since 2002 in the position as Gippsland Lakes Planning Officer. Chris also provides executive support for the Gippsland Lakes Taskforce and the Gippsland Integrated Natural Resources Forum. He was previously the Executive Officer for the East Gippsland CMA and the Gippsland Lakes Management Council.
Executive Assistant
David Morton has worked in the role of Executive Assistant for the Board since April 2007. Previously he worked in the building industry as a civil, structural and architectural design draftsman. He also has experience as a small business owner and in the music industry.
